Laertis Liakopoulos

Originally hailing from Athens and now based in London, Laertis Liakopoulos is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who crafts a progressive folk sound under his first name. His musical journey has involved various phases, and today, his folk-inspired era redefines the genre by blending traditional and Mediterranean folk, Soul, Latin and Rock, all frequently tinged with electronic elements.

Since unveiling his sound in 2020 with the debut single “Just U,” Laertis has built an impressive catalogue, including a single with Brutal from Ordem Nula Crew, a collaborative alt-Hip Hop EP with Markiif, the 2022 album Les Vulnerables, and an EP of live recordings. 

In 2024, Laertis was featured on BBC Kent at Stephen Brown's 'In Sessions' night show, and his Mediterranean Jazz version of 'Walking in the Air' was aired on the same show later in the year.

Beginning of 2025 found him performing in venues like Colours Hoxton and opening for 'Electric Litany', followed by a sold-out show for his latest EP release called FREE.
